Core Aeration
What to Expect
- Soil plugs will remain on the lawn — this is normal and beneficial
- Plugs will break down naturally within 1–2 weeks
- The lawn may look rough and bumpy immediately after service, but this is normal
Watering
- Water lightly for 7–10 days following aeration
- Resume your normal irrigation schedule unless otherwise advised
Best Results
- Aeration works best when paired with overseeding and fertilization
- Improvements occur gradually over the next several weeks
Avoid
- Removing soil plugs
- Heavy foot traffic for 24 hours
Fertilization
What to Expect
- Gradual greening and growth within 7–14 days
- Improved turf color and density over time
Watering
- Water within 24 hours unless rain is expected
- Resume your normal irrigation schedule afterward
Safety
- Fertilizer is 100% organic
- Kids and pets may return to the lawn at any time
Mowing
- Avoid mowing for 24–48 hours
Avoid
- Overwatering
- Mowing too soon
Lawn Boost
What to Expect
- The lawn may appear darker or lightly top-dressed immediately after service
- An organic blend of compost, sand, and topsoil has been applied to improve soil structure
- Benefits develop gradually over 1–3 weeks
Watering
- Water within 24 hours unless rain is expected
- Resume your normal watering schedule afterward
Mowing
- Avoid mowing for 24–48 hours
- Use a sharp blade
Avoid
- Overwatering immediately after treatment
- Aggressive raking or disturbance
- Mowing too soon
Lawn Restore
What to Expect
- The lawn may look messy, dark, or uneven immediately after service — this is normal
- A 1/4–1/2 inch organic blend of compost, sand, and topsoil has been applied to improve soil health and level uneven areas
- Peat moss may be visible to help retain moisture
- Results develop gradually over 3–6 weeks
Watering
- Follow overseeding watering guidelines
- Light watering 2–3 times per day at a minimum for the first 10–14 days
- Keep soil consistently moist, not saturated
Mowing
- Delay mowing until new grass reaches 3–3.5 inches
- Use a sharp blade and avoid sharp turns
Avoid
- Foot traffic during early establishment
- Letting treated areas dry out
- Raking or disturbing the soil surface
Mowing
What to Expect
- Minor amounts of grass clippings may be visible on the lawn — this is normal and helps return nutrients to the soil
- Temporary mowing lines or tire impressions may appear and typically fade within 24 hours
After Your Service
- Avoid foot traffic on the lawn for 1–2 hours to allow grass blades to rebound
- Check for and properly dispose of any bagged clippings, pet waste, or collected debris that may have been left on site
Watering
- Resume your normal watering schedule
- No immediate watering is required unless conditions are extremely dry
Avoid
- Mowing again for the next few days
Overseeding
What to Expect
- Seed germination typically begins within 7–21 days
- Growth rate depends on temperature, watering, and sunlight
Watering
- Light watering 2–3 times per day at a minimum for the first 10–14 days
- Keep soil consistently moist, not saturated
- Transition to deeper, less frequent watering once grass is established
Mowing
- First mow once new grass reaches 3–3.5 inches
- Mow carefully to avoid pulling up new seedlings
Avoid
- Foot traffic on newly seeded areas
- Letting soil dry out during germination
Planting (Flowers, Shrubs, Trees)
What to Expect
- Plants may appear stressed or wilted immediately after planting — this is normal
- Some soil settling around plants may occur after watering
Watering
- Water thoroughly immediately after planting
- Continue deep, consistent watering for the first 2–3 weeks
- Frequency may vary based on plant type, weather, and soil conditions
Mulch & Soil
- Mulch helps retain moisture and regulate soil temperature
- Keep mulch a few inches away from plant stems and tree trunks
Avoid
- Letting plants dry out during establishment
- Overwatering
- Heavy foot traffic or soil disturbance around newly planted areas
Power Raking
What to Expect
- The lawn may appear thin, stressed, or uneven immediately after service
- Significant debris removal is part of the process
- Temporary discoloration is normal
Watering
- Light watering for 5–7 days helps the lawn recover
- Avoid soaking the lawn immediately after service
Best Results
- Power raking is most effective when followed by overseeding and fertilization
Avoid
- Mowing for 3–5 days
- Heavy foot traffic for 48 hours
Snow Removal
What to Expect
- Snow has been cleared from designated service areas based on your agreement
- Some compacted snow or ice may remain, especially in shaded or high-traffic areas
After Your Service
- Exercise extreme caution when walking or driving — icy and slippery areas may remain
- Apply ice melt as needed
- Monitor conditions during temperature swings
Avoid
- Parking vehicles in service areas during snowfall
- Piling shoveled snow back into cleared zones
- Assuming snow removal eliminates all ice hazards
Sod Installation
What to Expect
- Sod should appear green and uniform immediately after installation
- Some seams or slight color variation are normal at first
- Bermuda sod typically establishes faster than cool-season grasses in warm temperatures
Watering
- Water heavily immediately after installation
- Keep sod consistently moist for 14–21 days
- Bermuda sod may require more frequent watering during the first 7–10 days in hot weather
- Do not allow sod to dry out or curl at the edges
Mowing
- First mow after 10–14 days for Bermuda sod and 14–21 days for cool-season sod, once roots are firmly established
- Use a sharp blade and avoid removing more than one-third of the grass height
Avoid
- Walking on sod for 7–10 days
- Heavy use until roots are fully established
- Letting Bermuda sod dry out during early establishment
Sprinkler System Activation
What to Expect
- The system has been pressurized and activated
- Minor adjustments may be needed as the season progresses
After Your Service
- Monitor the system for 48 hours
- Check for leaks, broken or misaligned sprinkler heads
- Look for dry spots or overwatered areas
Best Practices
- Adjust watering schedules gradually as temperatures rise
- Seasonal run-time adjustments are normal
- If additional repairs or adjustments are needed, contact your sprinkler repair professional for assistance
Avoid
- Ignoring small leaks or misaligned heads
- Running excessive watering cycles early in the season
Sprinkler System Winterization
What to Expect
- The irrigation system has been fully cleared and protected from freezing
- Outdoor irrigation lines should remain dry
After Your Service
- The controller may be powered off or placed in rain/off mode
- The system should remain off until spring activation

Avoid
- Foot traffic on repaired areas
- Letting repaired sections dry out
Weed Prevention
What to Expect
- Helps prevent new weeds from germinating
- Existing mature weeds may not be affected immediately
Watering
- Light watering within 24 hours unless directed otherwise
Safety
- Keep kids and pets off treated areas until the lawn has been watered in and is dry
Avoid
- Disturbing soil after application
- Aggressive raking, aerating, or digging
